Canadian mid century plaster statue of a seated ballerina.  Circa 1950.  This beautifully executed statue of a ballerina, I believe is the model for a subsequent bronze.  The plaster is somewhat dirty as obviously there is no glaze, and in some places rust has come through from the wire frame beneath, but I believe this all adds to its charm.  For the last year this lady has sat in my office overlooking the development of this site.  She sits 12 ½” high.
