Danish terra cotta art deco statue by the L. Hjorth terra cotta works circa 1938. Statue is of partially clad woman kneeling and tipping a large water urn. This is truly beautiful and extremely heavy-it is clearly marked on the base with the logo of the L. Hjorth firm that exhibited in the Danish Pavillion at the New York World's Fair in 1939. This incredibly moderne styled piece is 17" high with a base diameter of 8" and her condition is immaculate
