American Art Deco hammered aluminum and wood serving platter.  Circa 1939.  This great looking piece has tubular dark wooden handles that are ‘lashed’ with coils of aluminum to the edges of the beautifully deeply hammered platter itself.  A very strong design, in excellent condition.
