American Art Deco set of plastic and brass coasters with holding stand.Circa 1940.The eight coasters each have two ridged circles and two protruding brass wire handles, and are in a very stylish design. They slot in a row into a black base with a metal flake design that matches the color of the brass handles. This set is in overall very good condition, but some party goers have very naughtily used two coasters as ashtrays, and thus were probably never invited back.Base is 7 ¾’ x 4”.Coasters are 3” in diameter.
