American mid century modern white and black pair of male and female traditionally costumed ceramic Chinese figures.Circa 1947.Made by “Artistic Potteries” and marked as such on base, these figures I believe to be very quite special.They are absolutely mint and still have their original felt on the base.Some of these forties ethnic figures look, in my opinion, really tacky – these two however have style.Height male: 14 3/8” female 14”.
