Rare pair of Austrian Art Nouveau/Jugenstil amethyst glass, hammered pewter, and clear purple glass jeweled desk accessories.  Circa 1905.  These really show quality.  Triangle shaped amethyst glass bodies are capped with hand hammered patineted pewter trim.  The larger example has wonderful tiger-type faces with stylized lily-type spacers set with transparent purple glass cabochons against a hammered stippled background.  The smaller example has a hammered abstract floral pattern against the same stippled background.  They are both in excellent condition, save for a minuscule chip at the edge of the bottom of the base of the larger example.  They look really good with the light showing through them, but they are very hard to do justice to in a photograph.  To be sold as a pair.
