American Art Deco/Machine Age black bakelite automatic ink stand.  Circa 1948.  Designed in 1945 by Gustave J. Sengbusch and marketed by the company that bears his name.  This is a beautiful, stylish and sculptural piece that is fully marked and in near mint condition.
