Very rare American machine-age side lamp circa 1935 in chrome, copper, aluminum and bakelite.Markel of Buffalo produced a few exquisitely designed products and I have previously owned two large versions of their table lamps, but this is the first side lamp I have seen. It is in perfect condition and the affect achieved by the contrast of the different materials used make it a real winner. The overall height of the lamp is 13 1/2" high with a 6" diameter shade on a 6" diameter base.
