Superb art deco American or Canadian black bakelite and chrome free standing spring mounted frame circa 1935. Two pieces of glass 7 5/8" by 5 3/4" (one mirror and one bevelled) are slotted into black bakelite spring loaded clips set into chrome spheres on two black bakelite pillars; the whole being mounted on a stepped black bakelite base. Overall height 8 3/4", overall length of base 9 1/4". Condition is excellent although spring is weaker on one bakelite clip.
