Pair of English chrome and glass picture frames circa 1930. Each frame has two pieces of glass 5 1/2" by 3 5/8". The front piece with a 1/4" border of mirror and both pieces being bevelled are held in place by a chrome clip at the top, a chrome sphere at the bottom and two grooved chrome pillars on either side. Overall height 6", base 4 3/4" by 1 5/8". They are beautifully designed and represent English art deco at its simplest and cleanest best. Condition is excellent with original glass, very very slight foxing to the mirrored edge in some areas. (I have never seen these complete with the top clips and the original glass)
