American art deco cobalt blue glass and chrome ashtray, circa 1938. This gem of a design is by Harold Sandquist and has a brilliant cobalt blue glass spherical ash receiver that is cradled in a single piece of shaped chromed wire that terminates in two chromed cigarette rests. This extremely rare example is in near mint condition and looks as modern today as it did when it was patented in 1938. 3.5 inches high by 5” long. (150)
