Very rare American art deco chrome black lacquer and red catalin smoking stand with electric battery powered touch-tip lighting wand. Designed in 1935 by Edward F. McDonald for the Fairies Manufacturing Company. This is in my humble opinion the most beautiful of the American designed smokers’stands of the period. Complete in every way this item is in amazing condition with only some rust damage to the base plate on the underside. The catalin is bright and original in color as is the chrome. This is a stunning piece. 21” high, 16” in diameter.
