The much photographed but extremely hard to find turned wood, molded pressed wood, brass, velvet, glass, silk and feather automated flapper art deco cigarette box by Kindel and Graham of San Francisco circa 1929. Load this one up with cigarettes (unfiltered of course!) Push the brass button and low and behold a ciggie emerges from between the flappers beautiful Clara Bow lips. The mechanism works perfectly, the wood bears some minor usage wear, the flapper's face is in beautiful condition and even the feather on top is hanging in. This is the best condition of one of these rare and beautiful pieces that I have seen and it even still has the makers gold and red paper label stuck under the lid and the felt under its bottom. It is 6" high on a 7" diameter base.
