American art deco "Mastercase" lighter/cigarette case in chrome, black enamel and white enamel by Ronson (# 2067) circa 1933. This piece made my heart thump when I first saw it, not just for the beautiful graphics but also for the three initials on the chrome panel- J.F.K. ! Upon opening it however I found that in fact that it had once belonged to Brother J. F. Kersley of local 1149 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (a fine fellow in his own right no doubt) It is in great condition apart from some rubbing to the edges of the black and white enamels and minor dents to the lighter area. It is 4 1/4" high by 2 5/8" wide by 5/8" deep.
