Canadian Art Deco/Machine Age cigarette box with natural patina.Circa 1942.This is an obvious ‘Rosie the Riveter’ type of item,as the markings on the metal are from a Montreal aircraft factory during the war.Although this is a hand made and indeed, folk art piece, it is all Machine Age in design, with a great fluted top and lovely curved sides.Condition is good overall.
